The Real YOU!

Romans 7:15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

I had a dream years ago about a woman in the mirror who was laughing at me. It was like she knew things that I didn't know about me and found it very funny. I remember waking up in fear of the woman in the mirror, who was really a reflection of me. But was that the real me or was it a warning of who I could be, if I allow that part of me to rule? In the Bible, Paul asks a question, that we should all ask ourselves, why is it we do the things that we do? Is it sin that resides in us? And if it is, do we rely on ourselves to deal with the person in the mirror, or do we surrender, to Yeshua a.k.a. Jesus, knowing that we cannot live a victorious life apart from Him?

If you don't know Yeshua today, while the blood is still running warm through your veins, today is a good day to get to know Him! How? Acknowledge that His son Yeshua died for your sins, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness and for Him to come into your heart and change your life! And then start living a limitless life in Him! A life that has decided that the person in the mirror, won't rule!
