How many times in the Bible were second chances given by our Heavenly Father?
Innumerable! So why do we have such a problem with giving to others, what God so willingly gives to us, 70x7? Maybe it's because we have all of these rights that the world says is owed to us. Maybe because we think that we are actually punishing the other person. Maybe because they have hurt us yet again! Maybe because we're so much better than them. Maybe because we just don't want to. Maybe because what this person has done, was the straw that broke the camel's back!
Whatever reason that we can come up with as justification, we can't get past the fact that we have been given a second chance so many times that we shouldn't bat an eye at giving anyone and everyone a second chance! Who do you need to give a second chance to today? Maybe it isn't another person, maybe it's you!
