It is what God says it is!

Luther Vandross has a song in which he says a chair is not a house. But there is definitely a distinction between these two things. The chair has its functions and limitations as does the house and no matter what, one will never be what the other one is, nor can it be.
That being said, think about this, if God made man and woman and gave the distinction between the two, why are we having such an issue with what God says is supposed to be different? Oh, I forgot the answer is because we live in a society that now says a chair is a house if it wants to be and a man can be a woman and vice versa if they want to be. Do we really have that option and if we do, then what about God’s plan for the man and the woman who are both made in His image and for His plan? There's no need for confusion because God has not changed His mind from Genesis to Revelations about man and woman and the role that they are to play in His creation. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
