Do you know?

The things that we don't know could fill up the ocean and still there are depths of knowledge that we won't reach. So, why is it that we think that we know so much? Is it because when we don't know something, it makes us feel dumb? Is it because we want people to be smitten by our wealth of knowledge? Is it because we think that knowing what others don't, makes us better than them?

To my knowledge in human form, besides Jesus, King Solomon was the wisest man to live. And though he was the wisest, please know that there were still some things that he did not know or understand. Why? Because according to Job 42:1-5, there are things too wonderful for us to understand. If King Solomon struggled with what he knew, as the wisest man, then how can we think that knowledge alone is enough?

I don't know what you think you know on today, but Paul was determined to know nothing, but Christ crucified. Maybe you're searching for the "truth," and the only way that you feel that you can know that is through human understanding and knowledge. I challenge you today if you are an unbeliever to think about the ocean, that has a boundary line that God, Himself set and the waters go no further. Now that is too wonderful to know, but guess who does know? God!
