Crack it Open!

I'm a reader and so I have certain genre's that I like to read, but guess what? The Bible covers all genres of life, so that we can truly live wisely and not be ignorant of the adversary's attacks (2 Corinthians 2:11). Make no mistake about it, just like in the Garden of Eden, the serpent still twists our Father's words to his benefit. So, the way that we combat that is by reading His word for ourselves, to know who said what and why!

As believers we should want to read the Bible, first of all because it was written so that we do not die in our sins (John 3:16). Second, of all it's where we get our hope to continue to move forward (Romans 15:4). When you know better, you do better. I know it's been a while but that's okay, crack open that Bible and start back reading today!

I am realizing more and more how much of a privilege it is to be a child of God. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for me in Heaven, with Him! (John 14:3). I may have to endure some things while I am here on earth, but that is okay because Jesus is my personal savior, so I need not fear! If you don't know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I beg you, get to know Him in the pardoning on your sins!
