Are you living for Christ, or for your best life?!

Jesus Christ is not dead, but He is alive! (Mark 16:6). The Bible is said to be alive and active (Hebrews 4:12). I'm excited to get a new revelation of these scriptures because it reminds me that if my savior is alive and the words of the Bible, which are God breathed, is alive then how much MORE then, should I be living for God? How much MORE should YOU be living for Him? But more often than not, we have an excuse as to why we are not living for Christ.

Our savior Jesus is and was the best example of living a fulfilled life. No matter what came His way, He knew the reason for being here and He NEVER deviated from that purpose (Luke 2:49). Even writing this makes me feel convicted, but even more than that, I hope that it makes you the reader, think about what you haven't been doing in your life that would bring about our Father's purpose for you as well as for those that He calls His children. Can you honestly say, that can't nobody turn you around from following the Lord's will for your life and the effect that it is going to have on others that He has entrusted to you?

I am realizing more and more how much of a privilege it is to be a child of God. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for me in Heaven, with Him! (John 14:3). I may have to endure some things while I am here on earth, but that is okay because Jesus is my personal savior, so I need not fear! If you don't know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I beg you, get to know Him in the pardoning on your sins! (John 3:16).
