A Perfect Beginning and Ending!

In the beginning, are the first three words in the Bible. As you continue to read in Genesis 1, you are given the origin of all things on earth that were created by God. Then last but certainly, not least, man was created in the image of His maker, God. The bonus? Man had freewill, God even allowed the man to name the creatures that He, Himself had created. Then, God filled a need for the man, by creating the woman. What a wonderful beginning.

The saying "all good things must come to an end," would seem fitting when you continue to read in Genesis 3, but God does not fail to be Lord over the beginning and the end of the story that He wrote. God tells of HIs redemption plan in Genesis 3:15 and then He continues to be faithful to what He began. Today is Christmas, whether it is the time of the year that our Savior was born or not, God allowed this day out of all the other days of the year to be celebrated as His son's birthday!

May we never forget that God is the beginning and the end of everything, and that because only God can give any story a happy ending, as His children, we will experience His best in the end! Merry Christmas!
